Meet the Doctor

Russell A Marson, DDS

LVI dentist Dr. Russell Marson is a second-generation dentist. With an undergraduate degree in Biology from Fairleigh Dickinson University, Dr. Marson is a 1988 graduate of Emory University's School of Dentistry. Dr. Marson has been an Atlanta dentist since 1988 when he started his own private practice. In May of 2003 he created Dentition, Atlanta's Center for Dental Artistry.  Our new midtown dental office provides a relaxing atmosphere for our patients.

Dr. Marson is one of a handful of Atlanta dentists that have invested in post graduate training at the prestigious Las Vegas Institute.  Here as an LVI dentist he has focused on cosmetic and neuromuscular dentistry.  This training has greatly enhanced his ability to provide patients with beautiful new smiles.  He has also been able to successfully treat patients with neuromuscular disorders. 

This has led to the transition from Dentition, with a focus on cosmetic enhancement using smile design techniques, to The Atlanta Center For Neuromuscular Dentistry where we continue  to give patients their "dream smiles", but now take into account the entire neuromuscular complex.

Dr. Marson is married with two children. His wife, Kim, is a hygienist at Dentition. Joshua is a senior at Galloway and Taylor attends Inman Middle School. His hobbies include mountain biking, SCUBA diving, photography, reading and family fun at their Morningside home. Dr. Marson is a big sports fan and supporter of all local teams! His true love is hockey and the Thrashers. Pets include their beloved Milli, Liberty the cat, Socks and the newest rescue, Kona
