Education Continues
Dr. Marson has continued his education at the Las Vegas Institute this spring. He is one of the few “LVI Docs” in the area to complete 6 of their core classes in pursuit of their mastership in neuromuscular cosmetic dentistry. Dr. Marson and several team members have also completed a course on our new K7 neuromuscular diagnostic machine. This will provide us with valuable information in treating our patients with neuromuscular issues.
Diabetes Association
Many of our patients are affected by diabetes. This disease can wreak havoc on your mouth and we know the importance of dental care for those that are diabetic. That is why we volunteered our time at the American Diabetes Association conference. We provided information to some of the thousands of people that attended the event at the Georgia World Congress Center.
Lunch ‘n Learn
Many of us never think about the link between our mouth and our overall health. This was the topic covered by Dr. Marson and the team at a lunch and learn at a local firm. Specifically we addressed the connection between poor oral health and heart disease, pancreatic cancer, pregnancy complications and diabetes.
