Dentistry demands a genuine respect for your valuable time. We know that your schedule can be hectic, so when you arrive at The Atlanta Center For Neuromuscular Dentistry, we’re waiting for you. We hope you arrive early to relax in our inviting reception area. We’ll have the candles lit, and soothing music and fresh flowers to welcome you.

Your Office Away from the Office

When your work follows you, don’t worry. You’ll have a private workstation at your disposal with a high speed Internet connection. It’s the perfect spot to catch up on email, return those last few phone calls or to surf the Web.

If you ran out of the office before sending that fax or making those copies, we are at your service. We even provide courier services for those items and documents that need to arrive in a hurry.

During your stay with us, we hope you will let us know if there is anything we can do to make your day less stressful. Our staff is ready to help with all of life’s details - let us take your calls so you don’t miss an important message - or we can even help with dinner reservations, travel arrangements and performing or sporting event tickets. Our spacious exam rooms were designed with one thing in mind - your peace of mind. Each room features a large window and the Environment System seating described below.

You'll be greeted with a selection of comforting amenities: pima cotton throws, warmed neck pillows, refreshing hot or cool scented towels, calming herbal eye masks, moisturizing hand treatments and a choice of tranquilizing aromatherapies.

For patients undergoing longer procedures, a neck and shoulder massage is available from a licensed therapist upon request.

New Sights & Sounds

For your viewing pleasure, more than 100 basic, music and premium channel cable television programs are available and play on wall-mounted, flat-screen monitors.

Longer procedures provide an opportunity for viewing one of the popular complimentary pay-per-view movies that are available.

For your listening pleasure, we offer a wide range of music, including R&B; classical and instrumental; country; classic and alternative rock; dance and DJ; jazz; new age; rap and hip-hop; as well as Dentition's own house mixes. Portable special noise-cancelling stereo headphones are available.

In a corner of our cozy new reception area is a dental boutique we have affectionately named, "Oral Fixation." We have scoured the marketplace seeking the best, the rare, and the unusual in dental hygiene, dental accessories, and dental decor - plus some of our favorite other discoveries. You'll find exotic toothpastes from Italy. And designer toothbrushes like the Radius(I), now part of the Permanent Collection of the National Design Museum of the Smithsonian Institute. Oral Fixation also features the latest in breath control including ergonomic advances in tongue scrapers.

Oral Fixation is all about adding panache to the critically important (yet admittedly mundane) ritual of caring for your teeth. Watch our shelves or this site for interesting new additions.

Hundreds of design elements that promote efficient, comfortable movements between the dentist, the assistant and the patient have been taken into consideration.

Designed for KaVo by Frog Design, the award- winning firm based in San Francisco, Environment reflects Frog's trademark fluid, expressive aesthetic.

Frog had designed some of the world's most significant products including the Apple Computer, the Sony Trinitron, and the Lufthansa Airline terminals. Frog is also a world leader in software user-interface design and e-commerce solutions, with work for Microsoft, CommerceONE, SAP, and Dell.com.

In January of 2002, an exhibition of Frog Design's work opened at the Atlanta Contemporary Art Center. "Creative Convergence: the Work of Frog Design," featured historic sketches, photographs and models reflecting Frog's unique product and digital work over the past 30 years.
